Executive / Personal Assistant to the Founder (Local only)
Location: Petaluma, CA (Hybrid – must be local)
Status: Independent Contractor (1099)
Compensation: $25–$35/hour
Hours: 20-30 hours/week to start

About the Role
Melissa Franks, founder of On Call COO, is hiring a Personal & Executive Assistant to help manage her growing consulting business and her full life as a single mom of three boys and three beloved dogs 🐶 🐶 🐶.
This hybrid, part-time contractor role is ideal for a college student or recent graduate who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the behind-the-scenes of building and running multiple companies. This is not your average assistant job, it’s a launchpad.
You’ll support business operations, personal logistics, and creative content workflows. If you’re someone who anticipates needs, communicates clearly, and loves variety in your workday, you may be the right fit.
Key Responsibilities
✨ Executive & Business Support
Manage Melissa’s calendar (business + personal)
Turn meeting notes into digital task lists for the team
Draft and send client invoices
Support preparation of client proposals
Support podcast coordination: scheduling, uploading, formatting content
Travel with Melissa for client events or business ~1x per quarter
Maintain digital organization of files and processes
✨ Personal Assistant Duties
Coordinate appointments, errands, and logistics for Melissa and her family
Occasionally assist in person with errands or onsite support
Help track schedules and activities for her three sons
Must love and be comfortable around dogs 🐾
✨ Social Media & Content Support
Support the backend of social content scheduling and formatting
Assist with podcast publishing and light content-related tasks
Bonus: comfort with Canva, copywriting, or reels/TikTok-style editing

Position Details
💼 Status: Independent Contractor (1099)
⏰ Hours: 20-30 per week to start
🕘 Schedule: Must be available between 9 AM–2 PM PT, Mon–Fri
💰 Pay: $25-$30/hour depending on experience
📍 Location: Must be local to Petaluma, CA; hybrid with in-person availability
✈️ Travel: Required once per quarter
